Who We Are
We are founded by Allison and Brandon Harding, a couple living in San Antonio, TX. Once we decided that we were ready to have a baby, we quickly realized how complex the fertility world can seem.
We spent months sifting through fertility publications trying to figure out if we needed to get fertility tests, how long it may take to conceive, and if there was anything we could do to improve our chances of conceiving. We spoke with Allison’s OB-GYN, who advised us to “not even bother” purchasing at-home tests because they weren’t able to provide accurate results or recommendations for what to do based on those results.
We created Orchid to help men & women take the initiative and take control their fertility, as well as to put the most accurate fertility testing technology in your hands. Our mission is to provide cutting-edge fertility testing kits, as well as to provide an educational resource that can explain fertility testing results in simple terms.
Allison is a graduate of Johns Hopkins (B.S. Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering) and Brandon is a graduate of Lehigh University (B.S. Chemical Engineering).

We believe it’s never been more important for us to commit to sustainability. Some of the ways that we follow through on this mission are reusing our temperature-regulating packs between shipments and recycling all packaging material once it reaches the lab.
